Our client has developed several popular web services. In this case study we share a short description of our application vulnerability scan where unfortunately the new version of the application included a severe vulnerability.
In the course of the red team testing several critical vulnerabilities were revealed and based on the results of the multiple-round joint cooperation it can be established that the security level of our client’s system improved significantly shortly afterwards.
Application development is a complex process. Besides the testing conducted by the automated tools we always attach great importance to the manual tests. It allows the revealing of the vulnerabilities which otherwise remain hidden without the expert’s view.
